The Core, the Lighthouse and the Milky Way
Located on the Southern coast of South West Scotland, Southerness Lighthouse is a fantastic place to go and see the MIlky Way. Challenging with lights from the holiday park, Robin Rigg Wind Farm and the Cumbrian coast, it's still a great place to see the galactic core at the right time of year.
Here you can see Mars above the lights of Cumbria and then to the right the lighthouse and right of that, the gas cloud at the centre of our galaxy. Above this you can see the Great Rift which is the darker part of the gas cloud. We only get to see the galactic core for part of the year, either side of summer, making it an even more special shot to capture
Everything is printed using the finests papers & ink so will never fade
All mounts are a light Ivory mount
Frames are traditional Oak or Painted Black
Both standard glass & ART glass are UV resistant
Everything is made locally to the highest standard using Cumbrian businesses
