Long exposures & landscape photography

This unique course is based at the wonderful Sunnyside Guest House in Keswick, right in the heart of the Lake District. Together, we’ll explore some of the most iconic Lakeland locations—capturing their beauty through photography and experimenting with creative techniques such as long exposure to produce striking and atmospheric images.

By day, we’ll immerse ourselves in the landscape, with plenty of time to photograph, relax, and also work on post-processing and editing skills back at the guest house.

By night, we’ll head out to some of our favourite spots for astro-landscape photography. You’ll have the chance to try light painting, steel wool spinning, and night sky photography with telescopes, making the most of the Lake District’s beautifully dark skies—an ideal canvas for learning, experimenting, and creating unforgettable images.
